The P-40 Warhawk Kids T-shirt embodies the Curtis P-40 Warhawk. This aircraft became a symbol of American excellence and bravery mostly due to the actions of the American Volunteer Group also known as the Flying Tigers. This group of brave Americans painted the iconic Shark Teeth on the front of their fighters and it has been a paint scheme that has carried on as easily the most recognizable.
The AVG fought the Japanese for the Republic of China and this flag is represented on the arm patch.
